Dear friend, today is a new day, and with it, God offers you new hope. His hope will sustain you, as promised in Isaiah 46:4, where God's word says, “Even to your old age I am He, and to grey hairs, I will carry you….I will carry and will save.” How beautifully the Lord assures us, “To your old age, I am the One who will carry you.” We are sheltered in His safe arms, upheld and protected, my friend.

Yet, you may be thinking, My situation doesn’t seem like that, brother. I’m facing the last stages of cancer, or my kidneys are failing, or perhaps I am at the mercy of my debtors, and I feel like my life is slipping away. In these moments, you may wonder, how can God carry me? When my grandfather was at his weakest, with organs failing and doctors running out of hope, he called my grandmother, saying, “Set our house in order and take care of our children. I won’t be here much longer, but God will take care of you.” But my grandmother rose with faith and replied, “No, you will not die. For God has promised to do great and mighty works through you. He will not let us down.” And indeed, God preserved his life, fulfilling His promises.

Yes, my friend, I know God will not let you down either. He speaks to you today: “Even to your old age, I am the One who carries you.” We have a loving Father who is right now breathing new life into you, lifting you up in His merciful arms. You have no need to fear.

In Psalm 91:14 and 16, He says, “The one who acknowledges My name, I will protect him. With long life will I satisfy him.” Yes, those who seek the name of the Lord and hold fast to Him will be carried into a long life, protected and sustained to accomplish His will. So, come into the arms of Jesus today. Will you surrender yourself to Him and receive His blessings for you today?

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for Your promise to carry me, even to my old age. When life feels overwhelming, remind me, Lord, of Your strong, caring arms. I come to You today, surrendering my fears and trusting in Your love to sustain me. Breathe new life into my heart, Lord, and resurrect me from within with Your mercy. Help me to acknowledge Your name and hold fast to You, knowing that You will protect me. Fill my days with peace and Your sustaining grace. I trust in You to carry me through every season of life, giving me the hope and strength I need each day. In Jesus’ name, I pray,  Amen.
