My dear friend, today, we are meditating on the promise verse found in Exodus 14:13. It goes like this, "Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again." Yes, my friend, according to this verse, God promises you, “Fear not, stand firm for you will not see the Egyptians that you see today ever again.”

In the Bible, a few verses before this, the Israelites see the Egyptian soldiers coming towards them to try and destroy them. The Israelites are standing in front of a sea that they cannot pass over. They are trapped. At this moment, they complain to Moses, saying, “If you had left us in Egypt, we would have been safe. It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in this desert.” In that small moment, before God rescues them, they lose their faith and start complaining. Before God led them out of Egypt, He performed so many miracles, and all of them were able to see the greatness of God. But in that one moment when they felt trapped, they started complaining and lost their faith in God.

Many times, when we receive a promise or a plan from God, we may face challenges in our lives. We may not know what to do next. When we face these challenges, we often complain to God and blame Him, asking, "God, why am I facing this hardship when you gave me this promise? Why should I go through this financial struggle? Why should I face failure, loss, and criticism?" We might even think that our lives would have been better if we had not received these plans or promises, so we ask Him, "Why are You making me do this new thing?" But my friend, God says to you, "Fear not. Stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord. The enemy that you see today, the struggle, the obstacle or the sickness that you face today, you shall never see again." We see in that same chapter of the Bible that God opened up the Red Sea and split it in two. The Israelites were able to walk on dry land, passing over to the shore safely while the sea closed up on their pursuers, the Egyptians, and they were unable to destroy the Israelites.

God will show His glory and power to overcome the obstacles you are facing. You will see the salvation of the Lord. So, be encouraged, my dear friend. God is on your side. You will not see the enemy that is attacking you today. Let's express our gratitude to the Lord and pray.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for Your wonderful promise. I praise You for Your great power and Your glory. Today, help me not to doubt Your power but to trust in You to help me pass over to the shore, showing Your great wonders and miracles. Thank You that You will destroy all my enemies, obstacles, and sicknesses today so that I will never see them again. Thank You for giving me confidence and helping me to see Your salvation. Bless me, Lord, and glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
