My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today, let's meditate on Ephesians 2:10. This verse says, 'For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.' 

The life of Jesus Christ was filled with good works. He helped many people and delivered them from their problems, even raising some from the dead. He brought happiness to the people. God wants us to follow in His footsteps by imitating Christ. When the Lord Jesus was in this world, He was born in a manger into a poor family. Why was He born this way? If you read II Corinthians 8:9, the word of God says, "For our sake, Jesus became poor, that through His poverty we might become rich." This was a great sacrifice He made for us. He was brought up in a carpenter's house, even though He was the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Why did He humble Himself like that? So, we should also follow His example. If you read I Peter 2:21, it says, "Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example that we should follow in His footsteps."

My friend, in your daily life, just follow the example of Jesus Christ. Give importance to the word of God, share it and your experiences with other people, and pray for them. Also, spend time in the presence of the Lord God Almighty. By doing this, what will happen? If you read I John 4:17, it says, "You will become like Him." As He is, so are you in this world. Follow the footsteps of Jesus, and don't waste even a single minute. You will be transformed to be more like Jesus. Shall we ask Him to make us like that right now?

PRAYER: 

Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for Your comforting promise. Your desire for me is to be holy, just as You are holy. Even now, I surrender my heart and my thoughts to You and ask for Your forgiveness. Wash me with Your precious blood and help me to long for our presence. Please grant me the grace to spend more time at Your feet and renew my mind so that I will become more like You with each passing day. Lord, I desire most of all to follow in Your footsteps and do good to people as You did when You were on this earth. Holy Spirit, please fill me and equip me to intercede for others and be a blessing to those around me. Thank You for hearing my prayer and giving me the desire to imitate You in all circumstances. In Jesus’ name, I pray,  Amen.
