My beloved friend of God, I greet you warmly in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on a beautiful verse from the Bible. Judges 5:31 says, “Let those who love Him be like the sun when it comes out in full strength.” Just like a shining light, a radiant sun, your life will shine in the same way. Right now, the Lord is ready to change your life. Do you believe that? If you believe, you will see the glory of God.

To experience such a blessed life, what must you do? In Deuteronomy 30:20, it instructs us to, “Love the Lord your God, obey His voice, and cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days.” Similarly, in 1 Corinthians 8:1, it says, “Love towards God edifies us.”

My friend, until I was 16, I did not truly love Jesus. I was a nominal, namesake Christian, a churchgoer but without any real connection to Jesus Christ. Then, one day, when I was feeling all alone and depressed, the Lord spoke to me. He said, “Stella, I love you so much. I gave My life on the cross for you, My daughter. Look unto Me always. I will supply all your needs.” It was then that I realised I had never truly sought this great love. From that moment onward, I began to seek the Lord with all my heart. Hallelujah! He became my closest friend. I started to talk with Him, to walk with Him. At age 21, I fully surrendered my life and accepted Jesus as my Saviour.

Yes, my friend, Christ died on the cross for you to offer you a new and abundant life. In Ephesians 3:17-19, this love is explained so beautifully. Romans 5:5 and II Timothy 1:7 also remind us that “God has given us the Spirit of power and of love through the Holy Spirit.” Right now, the Lord is ready to bless you with all His love. Are you willing to accept this divine, loving friendship?

PRAYER: 
Loving Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart filled with gratitude and awe. Thank You for Your great love and for offering me a life that shines like the sun in Your glory. Help me to love You deeply, to obey Your voice, and to cling to You always, for You are my life and my strength. Thank You, Jesus, for the sacrifice You made for me on the cross to give me new life and hope. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of power and love, so that I can walk closely with You each day. Strengthen my faith, Lord, so that I will experience the fullness of Your love. I want to be Your friend always and reflect Your loving image to others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
