Dear friend, what a joy it is to meditate upon the promise of Psalm 34:10: "The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing." This verse reminds us that even the strongest can find themselves in need, but those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.

People can achieve great things in life, but if they miss Christ, they will still come up empty. However, when we seek the Lord, He adds all good things to our lives, often granting our heart's desires without us even asking. As it is written in Psalm 34:9-10, "Those who fear the Lord, those who seek the Lord lack no good thing." King David echoes this in Psalm 23:1: "The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall lack nothing." If God is with you, you will have everything you need. When we fear the Lord, seek Him, and serve Him, He ensures that we lack nothing.

Jesus Himself reminded His disciples of this truth in Luke 22:35 when He asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag, or sandals, did you lack anything?" They replied confidently, "Nothing, Lord." The Lord empowered them with the authority to drive out demons and heal the sick, equipping them with both spiritual power and earthly provision. That's why they could boldly declare, "Lord, we lack nothing at all."

You may feel like you are experiencing lack in your home today, but take heart—God is about to provide everything you need. From nothing, He will bring you into abundance. As Psalm 37:25 declares, "I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread." Righteous people, the people of God, will never be abandoned or left in need. You will lack nothing, and the best things are coming, dear friend, for the Lord is faithful to supply all your needs.

PRAYER:

Loving Father, You are my good Shepherd, and like David, I boldly declare today that I will lack nothing because You are a faithful, promise-keeping God. I pray that You help me to seek You more earnestly, spending time in prayer, meditating on Your Word, and drawing closer to You each day. Grant me the grace to keep You at the center of my life, placing You above all else and seeking You with all my heart. Help me to love You with all my strength so that my life will be a pleasing aroma before You. As I draw nearer to You, I trust that You will perfect everything that concerns me, making every crooked path straight. Let Your peace and joy be my dwelling place, and may I rest securely in Your loving care. I am complete in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, I pray,  Amen.
