My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today, let's meditate on Psalm 103:5, which says, "The Lord satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." What a beautiful promise verse!
The Lord satisfies your mouth with good things. Where does this blessing come from? Psalm 134:3 says that the Lord, who made heaven and earth, will grant you this blessing from Zion. Psalm 85:12 also reiterates, "The Lord will give what is good." To whom does the Lord give such blessings? Proverbs 13:21 says, "To the righteous people, good shall be repaid." Also, Ezra 8:22 says, "The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him." Let's take a moment to evaluate our lives today and reflect on how much we seek the Lord. Do you seek Him early in the morning? David was a man of God. He was blessed abundantly by the Lord. He said, “The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want.” In Psalm 23, the entire chapter is about the goodness and mercy of God. He received all good things in his life because he sought God diligently.
Let us also seek the Lord with all our hearts, my friend. Every morning, noon, evening, and before bed, seek God with all your heart, and the Lord will satisfy your mouth with good things. John 11:40 says, “If you believe, you will see the glory of God.” Therefore, I urge you to cry out to the Lord in your weak moments when you feel like you cannot move on. Confess to the Lord that He is your strength. When you look to the Lord, He will give you good health, strength, and whatever you need in life. Psalm 92:14 says, “They shall still bear fruit in their old age.” Now, we are going to receive every good thing from the Lord. Shall we pray?
PRAYER:
Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for promising me that You are filling my mouth with good things. I pray that You will grant me the grace to seek You with all my heart early in the morning and throughout the day. I want to keep You at the center of my life and fulfill Your will at every step of my life. Please help me to seek You diligently and get closer to You day by day. Clothe me with Your righteousness so that I will be righteous before Your sight. I believe that Your goodness and mercy shall follow me and adorn my life with good health, strength and all Your blessings from above. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
