My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on Proverbs 12:7, which says, “The wicked are overthrown and are no more, but the house of the righteous stands firm.” What a great promise this is, my friend! The house of the righteous will stand strong and unshaken!

If you live a righteous life before the Lord, your house will stand forever. Just as David was deeply troubled by King Saul’s jealousy, where Saul sought to destroy him, God gave David a powerful promise. In II Samuel 7:16, it says, “Your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you.” This was a promise given to David through a servant of God, and that very same promise is available to you today. Imagine how much encouragement David must have received from those words!

Similarly, in I Samuel 25:28, through a woman of God, another word came to David: “The Lord will certainly make for my lord an enduring house.” And again, in Psalm 23:6, David confidently declares, “I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Why did David have such an unshakeable belief? If you look at Psalm 23:1, David says, “The Lord is my Shepherd.”

My friend, for this promise to be yours, you must ensure that the Lord is truly your shepherd. You must honour Him, believe in Him, and seek Him in every moment of your life. It’s not just about saying the words; you must show it in action. Believe in Him, spend time with Him, and He will be your shepherd. When He is your shepherd, you need not worry about anything. The Lord will bless your home abundantly. Even now, dedicate everything - your life, your home, your worries and burdens into the hands of God.

PRAYER:
Dear loving Father, I come before You today with a heart full of faith, trusting in Your promise that the house of the righteous will stand firm. You are my Shepherd, and I surrender every part of my life, my home, and my family into Your loving hands. Just as You protected and blessed David, I pray that You will establish my house forever with Your divine favour. Lead me in righteousness, and help me to seek You in every moment of my life. Let Your presence be my strength, and let Your peace fill my heart. I believe that as I honour and follow You, my home will be a place of lasting blessing. Thank You, Lord, for being my Shepherd and my strong foundation. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
