My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on Psalm 107:20, which says, “God sent out His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.”

God sent His word, which is incredibly powerful. When you meditate on the word of God, you can receive many blessings from the Lord, including healing. In Isaiah 66:2, the Lord says, "But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at My word." Those who approach the Lord with reverence will be blessed. Instead of reading the Bible casually, we should approach it with respect, setting aside time to engage with the word and allowing it to impact us deeply. The word of God instructs us to "eat the word of God," emphasising the importance of immersing ourselves in it rather than just skimming through it quickly. Therefore, it's important that we approach reading the word of God with awe and reverence, as it is described in the Bible.

If you fear God and tremble at His word, what will happen? According to Ephesians 3:20, "Whatever you need will be answered beyond anything you can ask or imagine, according to the power that works within you." So, ask the Lord for what you need, saying, "Lord, as You have promised in Your word, grant me this blessing," and as Romans 10:17 states, "Your faith will grow." In Luke 10:42, we learn about Mary, the sister of Martha, who chose to sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to His words. Because of this, she chose the "good part", which cannot be taken away from her. Similarly, if you dedicate yourself to reading and following God's word, you will receive His abundant blessings.

PRAYER:
Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your magnificent and powerful Word. My greatest desire is to know You better and to consistently meditate on Your word. However, many times my heart drifts towards things that don't truly matter. Lord, I ask that You incline my heart, desires, thoughts, and emotions toward Your word. Just as the Psalmist said, turn my eyes away from worthless things and lead me in Your ways. Renew my mind and give me life through Your precious word. Lord, open the eyes of my understanding so that I can see the hidden treasures in Your word and be filled with Your glory. Thank You, Lord, for I know that You will answer my prayer. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
