Dear friend, I hope you are ready for the Word of God today, which comes from Psalm 63:3, “Because Your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise You.” May God bless you abundantly with His steadfast love, my dear friend.

This is what newly married husbands and wives often express when they are first married. They're so deeply in love they say things like, “Honey, loving you is better than anything else in my life. I wish we could just keep on loving each other and living our life together. Nothing else matters.” They become engrossed in this overwhelming love. Hopefully, that love will continue for a long time. I'm not sure how long it lasts in every case, but that's exactly how our life with Jesus should be every day - filled with love for Jesus and receiving love from Jesus. We should say, “Lord, just love me today. Wrap me in Your love, Lord, and help my heart overflow with it.” This happens when we praise the Lord and offer Him thanks. His love enters into our hearts and fills us completely.

This is exactly how Jesus lived His life every single day. He sought the love of the Heavenly Father first thing in the morning, making sure He was wrapped in God’s love before anything else. He lived each day in the fullness of that love. The verse tells us that it’s a steadfast love, one that is always there, better than life itself. Even when people came to question Jesus or tried to break His heart, even when threats and storms surrounded Him, He remained unshaken because He was wrapped in the love of God. He showed us what it looks like to live as a man fully immersed in that divine love. Today, that’s how we’re called to live our lives—wrapped in the love of God. Shall we receive it?

PRAYER:
Precious Lord, thank You for Your steadfast love, which is better than life itself. Wrap me in Your love today, just as You did each day with the Father. Fill my heart with Your presence so that I can live unshaken in this world. When life’s storms arise, help me to be anchored in Your love. Like You, Lord, I want to begin every day seeking Your love first. Overflow my soul with gratitude, praise, and a heart full of thanks. Let Your love guide my every step and decision today. Please help me to show Your love to others, even when trials come my way. Thank You for loving me unconditionally, always and forever. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
