My friend, God is here to guide us onto a path where we prosper today. He is with you; do not worry. He has promised you in Deuteronomy 28:13, “The Lord will make you the head and not the tail.” This promise is coming to pass! He will make you honourable in this world.

When we meditate on Isaiah 50:6-7, the writer says, “I’ve turned my back to those who came to beat me. I have no problem showing my back for them to strike. I will offer my cheeks to those who pull the beard out of my face. I am not bothered by those who mock me or spit at me. Why? Because the Sovereign Lord will help me. He will bring justice for me. He will not allow my life to end in disgrace.” That is the hope God gives us. And this hope is coming for you today. The Lord will never allow your life to end in disgrace. You may be experiencing shame today. Perhaps people are mocking you, saying you're not good enough. Maybe they're ridiculing you because of the struggles you're enduring. Some might even taunt you, asking, “Where is your God now? You’ve been talking about Him, yet why has He allowed you to walk this difficult path?”

You might feel like hiding your face in shame. But why does God allow us to go through this path? It’s to reveal the treachery of people, to show us not to place our trust in anyone but Him as our Saviour. It’s also to demonstrate His mighty power, the power that lifts us out of shame and raises us far higher than we could ever imagine. Through this, you will realise how great the Lord is, how deeply He desires to elevate you, and how much He wants you to cling to Him. I have also walked this path of shame. It taught me patience because I know the time is coming when God will lift me up. He will never allow my life to end in disgrace. It has also taught me not to hold on to the praises of people but to offer even those praises back to God as a thank offering. I now say, “Lord, You have allowed me to receive honour and praises in this world. I give them all back to You.” Let us continue to walk with the Lord, delighting in His presence and trusting in His promises. Shall we thank Him for this wonderful assurance today?

PRAYER:
Loving Lord, I come before You with a grateful heart, trusting in Your unfailing promises. You have called me to be the head and not the tail, to rise above my shame and walk in the fullness of Your blessing. Thank You, Lord, for remembering me, Your child, and for never letting me down. You lift me up on wings like eagles, carrying me to dwell in the heights You have prepared for me. I surrender to Your perfect will and remain patient in Your timing. Lord, elevate me in every area of my life so that Your glory will be seen through my life. Surprise me, Lord, with Your goodness and faithfulness, and let my life reflect Your love and power. I receive Your promise with faith, and I thank You for all You are about to do in my life.  In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
