My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today is Easter Day. But are you weeping? Have you lost all your hope in worldly things or in any of the people you trusted? Take heart, for today the Lord is promising you this from Jeremiah 31:9, "They shall come with weeping and with supplications. I will lead them, I will cause them to walk by the rivers of water in a straight way in which they shall not stumble. For I am a Father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn." What a great promise, isn’t it?
Yes, they shall come with weeping. Maybe you have come today with tears. Have you lost all your hope, your money, your strength, your trust in anyone? The Lord says, "I will lead them. I will cause them to walk in a straight way in which they shall not stumble, for I am a Father to Israel." That is why David said in Psalm 23:1, "The Lord is my shepherd." Yes, believe in these words. Say the same thing. Are you dejected and depressed? Are you crying because you have lost everything? David said, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." Put your complete trust upon God Almighty today just like that.
That is Easter. Easter means the Lord is risen. He is not a dead God. He is alive today and always alive. He is ready to help you at all times. That is Easter. Be of good cheer. Don’t always be crying, “Oh, I have lost this, I have lost that.” Put your complete trust in Him as your shepherd. As Proverbs 10:22 says, "The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it." According to Proverbs 28:25, if you believe, you will be a blessed person. And in Jeremiah 31:14, the Lord says, "And My people shall be satisfied with My goodness."
Today, you may be crying, “I lost my health, I lost my money, I lost my peace. There’s no peace in my family. Everything is darkness.” But God says: “I have come to revive you. That’s why I gave My life on the cross. That’s why I resurrected today. I will do the same thing in your life. I will resurrect everything. All the darkness will be gone. All your sorrow will be gone.” Would you look to Him now and receive His blessings?
PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come with weeping, yet with hope in Your promises. You are my Shepherd, and I shall not lack any good thing in my life. Even in my weakness, You lead me by rivers of peace. Revive my broken heart and restore all I have lost. I trust not in man, but in Your unfailing love. Lord Jesus, thank You for rising again and living forever. Let Your light break through all my darkness. Remove my sorrow and replace it with Your joy. Satisfy me with Your goodness and make me whole. I put my complete trust in You, my risen Saviour and faithful Father. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
