Dear friend, today we are going to meditate on Proverbs 11:30. The Bible says, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise captures and wins souls for God." He gathers them for eternity. God loves those who win souls. Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky. And more than that, those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever. Charles Spurgeon says this, "The soul winner must be a master of the art of prayer." Before winning any soul, we should first win Christ. How can we win Christ? When we have set time for prayer every day, God delights in us. We have to live the truth first. Remember, you are not working for yourself, but you are working for God. Without God, you can do nothing.
Our father, Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran very often says this to me: "Evangeline, before ministering, you should not get out of this house without prayer. If you could, you should fast and pray," he would say. That's why I'm doing that to this day. When we do that, we will be a blessing to others. The saying says, "Empty vessels make much noise." Without prayer, we'll be just shouting, saying some words, but with prayer, we can win souls. That's why the Bible says, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life." Give freely. The one who refreshes others will be refreshed. Jesus Himself says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
One gives freely, and it grows all the richer. Another withholds what he should give and only suffers want. Let us not become weary in doing good. Keep on doing your good work. For at the proper time, you will reap the harvest. Do not give up, dear friend. Keep on doing the good work. That's what the Bible says, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life." And the one who is wise saves lives. In James 5:20, the Bible says, "Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins." Keep on working for the Lord, dear friend. Keep on gathering souls for eternity. May the Lord make you a fruitful tree.
PRAYER:
Loving Lord, thank You for calling me to bear fruit that brings life to others. Help me to walk in righteousness and wisdom so that I can lead many souls to Your kingdom. Teach me to be faithful in prayer, rooted in Your truth, and rich in love. Let my life refresh others and glorify You. Strengthen me to never grow weary in doing good, but to press on in hope, knowing that You will bring a harvest in due season in my life. Lord, make me a fruitful tree that makes Your name great. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
