Dear friend, today we will meditate on Psalm 126:5, which says, "Those who sow in tears will reap with joy." The Lord counts every tear you shed before Him. Surely, your tears will turn into a blessing in your life. For every tear you are shedding, you will laugh. For every tear you are shedding, you will have shouts of joy. That is exactly what we see in verse 2, “Your mouth will be filled with laughter, and your tongue will overflow with shouts of joy.”

When the Lord answers your prayers, you will be jumping with joy. Others will see the joy in your heart. Your neighbours, relatives, and those around you will say, “The Lord has done great things for you!” This is what is going to happen in your life, dear friend. You will not cry forever. The Lord Himself will put an end to your tears. This is exactly what the Lord did for the people of Israel. When He restored the fortunes of Zion, they were like those who dream. The Israelites had been in captivity for 70 long years; nearly an entire generation had passed. But then, the Lord turned their captivity around. When they returned from Babylon, they were filled with laughter and overflowing with joy. It was so incredible, they could hardly believe it was real. They had to literally pinch themselves to make sure they were not dreaming!

A similar event happened when Peter was released from prison. As we read in Acts 12:13-19, the authorities had planned to execute Peter, and he was imprisoned without any hope of escape. But the believers gathered at Mary’s house and prayed continuously for him. Because of their prayers, the Lord sent an angel to deliver him. His chains were broken, and he was led safely out of prison. When he arrived at Mary’s house and knocked on the door, his friends and fellow believers could not believe it was really him! The servant girl Rhoda was so shocked that she did not even open the door. It all felt like a dream to them. They could not believe that the Lord had truly answered their prayers.

Yes, dear friend, you may have been praying for a long time for a miracle. But just as He did for Peter and the people of Israel, the Lord will listen to your prayers and send you an answer. When God answers, it will be like a dream. As you sow in tears, you will reap in joy. As the Bible says in II Chronicles 15:7, "Be strong, do not give up, for your work will be rewarded." You will reap, dear friend! God will transform your life's journey from tears to glory. So, keep praying, keep asking, keep knocking at the door. Your answer is on the way. Your tears will turn into joy!

PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your loving promise. You see every tear I have shed, and I trust that You will turn my sorrow into joy. Lord, I believe that my prayers are not in vain and that You are working behind the scenes for my good. Fill my heart with laughter and my tongue with shouts of joy as You answer my prayers. Let those around me see Your mighty hand in my life and say, “The Lord has done great things!” Give me the strength to keep praying, keep asking, and keep knocking, believing that my answer is on the way. Lord, I choose faith over doubt and patience over despair. Transform my journey from tears to glory, and let my life be a testimony of Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
