My dear friend, it is such a joy to greet you. Our hope in the Lord will never fail. When we place our trust in Him, it brings the Lord within us and releases His blessing upon our lives. As it says in Psalm 1:3, the one who delights in and meditates on the Word of God “is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season.” Just look at trees planted by flowing water; they are well nourished, constantly drinking in what they need. The soil around them is fertile, filled with rich nutrients. Because they are healthy and deeply rooted, they bear fruit at the right time. In the same way, the Lord is going to plant you in the right place.

The previous verse says that the person who meditates on the Word of God becomes like such a tree. From today, God is going to nourish us with His Word. That Word will make us a healthy tree. It will flow within us like life-giving water, strengthening our roots and producing fruit in every area of our lives. If we are planted in the wrong place, He will not leave us there. He will uproot us from unhealthy soil, from places that drain us spiritually, emotionally, and morally, and He will replant us where we can truly flourish.

One person once shared his situation with me. While working in a corporate office, he entered into a wrong relationship outside his marriage. He believed it would make him feel good and satisfied, that it would bring him joy. But instead, he said he was constantly hiding and living in fear. His name was tarnished, and that season felt like hell. There was no true enjoyment, none of what he had hoped for. God is going to uproot us from such places of wrong influence. He will plant us by the streams of living water, which is His Word, and make us bear lasting fruit. Shall we receive this blessing?

PRAYER: 
Loving Lord, please help me in my struggles. Wherever there are wrong influences in my life, and I feel helpless, right now, take them away, Lord. Remove the wrong things from my life completely. Take away the wrong desires. Take away everything that is pulling me away from the right path, and from today, bless me with Your Word. Help me to drink in Your Word passionately every morning. Let me hear You speaking to me clearly and personally. Fill me with Your joy and make me prosperous in every area of my life. Make me a fruit-bearing tree, Lord, rooted deeply in Your Word, strong, nourished, and planted by Your living streams. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
