Dear friend, today, we will meditate on the Word of God from Philippians 1:6, “He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” The Lord is coming soon, and that is why He is preparing us to stand blameless before Him at His return. As the Bible says in I Corinthians 1:8, “He will keep you firm to the end so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Likewise, Psalm 125:1 assures us that as we trust in the Lord, He will make us steadfast like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but endures forever. Our spiritual growth must continue as we walk with God, remaining strong in faith.
That is why the Lord first grants us salvation, as written in II Corinthians 5:17: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” When we unite with Christ, our old sinful nature is removed, and we are made new in Him.
Secondly, the Lord sanctifies us, as declared in I Thessalonians 5:23, “May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” This sanctification is not our own doing but the work of the Holy Spirit within us. Day by day, He transforms our character so that we can reflect the holy nature of God.
The Lord never gives up on us. When He begins a work in us, He does not leave it unfinished. Instead, He restores us completely, making us just like Him. Our God is a God of abundance and perfection. In His faithfulness, He makes us blameless until the day of Jesus Christ. As David proclaims in Psalm 23:5, “You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.” The Lord’s work in us is always complete and overflowing. Even today, cry out to God. May He make you holy, just as He is holy. May His presence be with you, and may His perfect blessings be upon you in full measure.
PRAYER:
Loving Lord, I thank You for the good work You have begun in me. I trust in Your promise that You will bring it to completion until the day of Christ. Strengthen me, Lord, to remain firm in faith, steadfast like Mount Zion. Sanctify my whole spirit, soul, and body by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Transform my heart daily so that I will reflect Your holy nature. Remove all that is old and sinful in me and make me a new creation in Christ. Lord, never let me stray from Your perfect will and restore me completely. Keep me blameless and prepare me to stand before You at Your coming. Let Your presence be with me always, and Let Your blessings be upon me abundantly. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
