My precious child of God, I wish you a blessed day, and may the Lord guide and lead you at all times. Today, we will meditate on a beautiful promise found in Exodus 33:14, where the Lord declares, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” What a glorious promise from God!
Yes, my friend, for this to be fulfilled in our lives, we must seek God with all our hearts and approach Him in reverential fear and prayer. When we kneel before Him, He will guide us and lead us in a beautiful way, always. That is why the Bible encourages us in Psalm 105:4, “Seek the Lord continually.” Likewise, Proverbs 8:30 says, “And I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.” This reminds me of a beautiful chorus, “Rejoice in the Lord always.” Yes, my friend, prayer is truly beautiful. Through prayer, we can talk to God, walk with God, and live in the fear of God, receiving His divine rest and guidance. When we look at Jesus' life, how did He pray? Matthew 14:23 tells us that Jesus prayed every evening. Luke 6:12 states, “Jesus went out to the mountain to pray and continued all night in prayer with God.”
Similarly, David, a man like us, prayed every morning. Psalm 63:1 affirms this, and Psalm 55:17 declares, “He prayed in the evening, morning, and at all times.” Because of this, the Lord became his Shepherd and led him throughout his life. In the same way, my precious child of God, I encourage you to seek the Lord’s presence daily and at all times, whenever possible. Whatever you do, the Lord will go before you and accomplish everything for you. Hallelujah! What a great God we serve!
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for promising me that there is peace and rest in Your presence. Please help me to seek You continually, with a heart full of reverence and prayer. Guide me, Lord, just as You led my sweet Saviour, Jesus, when He was on this earth and the man of God, David, through their times of prayer. Teach me to walk with You daily. Let me experience the promised peace and strength in Your presence. Go before me in all I do, and let Your will be accomplished in my life. I rejoice in You, Lord, and trust in Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
