My precious friend, today’s promise is this: “I will make you a nation greater and mightier than they” (Numbers 14:12). God desires to make you greater. He longs to make you mightier than they. But who are these “they”? If you read the chapter from verse one onward, you’ll see that through Moses, God was leading the people of Israel to the Promised Land. Yet, when they arrived at the land, they saw giants, people so tall and powerful that they seemed like giants compared to themselves. The Israelites felt like mere grasshoppers in their presence. They lost all faith in God, doubting that He could give them victory over these giants or help them possess the land He promised. Overcome with fear and disbelief, they cried out, “Why have you brought us here, Moses, to die in this land?” They did not believe in God. They refused to trust in His servant, Moses. So, God declared, “I will make you greater and mightier than these people who are grumbling and who refuse to believe in Me.”

Even today, we face similar challenges, encountering two kinds of spirits. When we face giants, those who oppress us because we carry the name of Jesus, we may find ourselves asking, “Why, Lord? Why do You allow this oppression?” We doubt the power of the Lord Jesus to deliver us from these giants, and we start grumbling, just like the Israelites. We also encounter giants in our land, those who think they can destroy anyone who doesn’t follow their principles. But God says, “Moses, because you have believed in Me, I will make you a greater and mightier person than these giants and even greater than the grumblers.” My dear friend, tell the Lord today: “Yes, Lord, there may be giants around me, but I will not grumble. I will not displease You. I will believe in You. I trust that, even in the presence of these giants who hate me and hate You, You will still make me greater and mightier than them.” God will lift you up.

Let me share with you the inspiring testimony of Brother Ram Swami from Salem. He is a farmer. His daughter was in school, where she faced oppression from an evil power. Someone introduced their family to Jesus Calls Ministry, and they attended one of our Prayer Meetings. When we prayed, the demons left the child, and she was completely set free. Moved by this miracle, the entire family surrendered their lives to Jesus. However, this decision came at a great cost. Their relatives, furious with their newfound faith, threw them out of their possessions and their home. Brother Ram Swami, his wife, and their daughter had to live with his wife’s parents. But the prayers through Jesus Calls Ministry were a constant source of comfort to him.

Miraculously, God made a way for him to return to his land. He began sowing crops and cultivating sugarcane. At that time, he also joined the Jesus Calls Business Blessing Plan, supporting the ministry so we could pray for others through this plan. God’s blessings poured out on his agriculture. His harvest was abundant; Sugarcane, turmeric, and even jaggery, which was received with overwhelming demand in the market. God prospered him beyond measure, and he received greater returns than all the relatives who had cast him out. Yes, my friend, God made him greater and mightier than those who opposed him because of his faith in Jesus. The Lord will do the same for you. Trust Him!

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promise to make me greater and mightier than my challenges. When I face giants of doubt, fear, and oppression, help me trust in Your power to deliver me. Forgive me for moments when I have grumbled or lacked faith in Your promises. Teach me to stand firm in Your Word, knowing You are greater than any obstacle before me. Strengthen my heart to believe that even in the presence of those who oppose me, You will lift me up. Let my life testify of Your greatness as You turn every challenge into victory. Fill me with unshakeable faith so that I will honour You in all situations. Lord, I choose to rely on Your strength, not my own. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
