My friend, today's promise is taken from John 15:5. The Lord says, “I am the vine, you are the branches.” He is our foundation, and we are built upon Him. He is the unshakable rock, and we are the mansion standing firm upon Him. My father often shared a story that beautifully illustrates this truth. A father was carrying his son on his shoulders while crossing a river. The father was a tall man, but as they waded through the waters, the river grew deeper and deeper. Soon, the water reached up to the father's neck. The son, frightened, asked, “Daddy, am I going to sink?” The father reassured him, saying, “My son, before you can sink, I must sink first. I am taller than the turbulent waters, and as long as you are on my shoulders, you will be safe.”
Yes, the Lord is our vine, the ever-living vine. He is the greatest and most powerful rock. He will never be shaken, and He will never run dry. As long as you remain in Him, you will always be safe. And when you abide in Him, you will bear much fruit. Today, you may feel like you are withering away, but connect yourself to Jesus. He is the living vine. When you become His branches, life will flow through you, and you will bear fruit through His grace. Thank God that you are connected to Jesus, and you will bear much fruit.
Sis. Tamizh Selvi first heard about Jesus through a Jesus Calls meeting. Drawn by His love, she began visiting the Prayer Tower and enrolled her son in the Young Partners Plan. She also dedicated her family to God by joining the Family Blessing Plan. As she stayed connected to Jesus through the prayer offered in the Prayer Tower, a deep longing grew within her to pray for others. She joined the Jesus Calls Power Ministry and received training. The power of the Holy Spirit came upon her, equipping her to intercede for others. As she voluntarily prayed in the Prayer Tower, miracles began to happen through her. People were drawn to her, and many came to Christ through her prayers, becoming partners in the ministry.
God honoured her faithfulness and lifted her up in her profession. Today, she holds a prestigious position as the Controller of Examinations in an institution, living a blessed life and being a blessing to others. You, too, will bear much fruit! Stay connected to Jesus, the true, living vine.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for being my firm foundation and unshakable rock. Lord, You are the true vine, and I am Your branch. Please help me to abide in You always. When the waters of life rise and fear overtakes me, remind me that I am safe on Your shoulders. Let Your life-giving grace flow through me, reviving my weary soul and making me fruitful. Help me to remain deeply rooted in You. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I can be a blessing to others and bear much fruit. Thank You for never running dry, for always providing, and for sustaining me. I surrender my fears, my struggles, and my doubts into Your hands, Lord. Let my life bring glory to You as I live in complete connection with You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
