Dear friend, are you ready to receive what God has in store for you? Right now, it’s coming to you from Luke 2:14. When Jesus was born into this world, the angels proclaimed: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased!" Yes, God gives great peace to those with whom He is pleased. His peace is truly matchless. When Jesus died on the cross, His disciples were filled with fear. They thought the same people who killed Jesus would come for them next. They felt like their lives were over like everything had come to an end. They didn’t yet know that Jesus had risen and was alive again. All they could see was that Jesus was gone. To them, God seemed absent, and with that came hopelessness and fear.
But isn’t this how our lives feel sometimes? The moment we lose hope that Jesus is with us, that He can act on our behalf, fear creeps into our hearts. When fear takes over when we start saying, “My life is over,” or “Nothing will work out for me,” it’s as though we are saying, “God is no more.” It’s as if we are declaring that God is dead and cannot help us. Yet, that’s exactly when Jesus appeared to His disciples. He said to them, "Peace be unto you. Peace be unto you. I am alive." He showed them that He was alive. In John 14:27, Jesus had already promised His disciples, "My peace I give to you, My peace I leave with you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid. Let your heart never be troubled. Let My peace always be within your heart."
Dear friend, always remain under the peace of God by trusting in Him. The moment you truly believe that Jesus is alive, that He is not dead but right next to you, God’s peace will fill your heart. Are you waiting for your competitive exam results? Are you anxiously awaiting a test report, wondering if it will bring failure or bad news? Are you questioning how your life will turn out? In those moments, say with confidence, "Lord, I trust You. I trust You, Lord." When you thus acknowledge Him, a great peace from God will flood your heart. This peace will fill you, protect you, and keep your heart steadfast.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for the gift of Your matchless peace. In moments of fear and hopelessness, remind me that You are alive and with me. Fill my heart with an unshakeable trust in Your presence and power. Help me to let go of all anxieties and receive your perfect peace that passeth all understanding. When doubts arise, strengthen my faith to know You are near and in control. Let Your peace calm my troubled heart and guide me in every decision. I surrender my worries about the future, fully trusting in Your perfect plans. Let Your peace rule my heart and mind as I commit to please you in all my ways. In Jesus’ matchless name, I pray, Amen.
