My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! Today’s promise is from Zechariah 9:12, which says, "Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today, I declare that I will restore double to you." What a powerful assurance from the Lord. He promises to restore twice as much to you!
Nahum 1:7 reminds us, "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble." So, what must we do? We must place our complete trust in Him. The Lord knows those who trust in Him, and when we do, He becomes our stronghold. Proverbs 16:20 and Jeremiah 17:7 declare, "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord." David is a perfect example of this unwavering trust. In Psalm 31:4 and 43:2, he says, “Lord, You are the God of my strength.” Though he was just a shepherd boy, his hope was firm in God, as seen in Psalm 23:1 where he confesses, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing.”
My friend, where is your hope today? Are you relying on a man, a woman, or a friend? They are only human, limited by the world’s uncertainties. But when you put your complete trust in God, He will bless you abundantly and restore you beyond measure. Even today, whatever your needs may be, surrender them to Him. Trust in Him completely, and He will restore twice as much to you. Would you pray and receive this blessing today?
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart full of trust. Thank You for being my stronghold in times of trouble. I surrender my worries, my needs, and my hopes into Your hands. You are my good Shepherd, and in You, I lack nothing. Restore me, Lord, and bless me with double the joy and peace. Strengthen my faith to rely on You alone, not on the world. Help me to walk in complete trust in You, just as David did. Let Your promises come alive in me today. I receive Your blessings with gratitude and faith. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
