Dear friend, today we are blessed by the presence of a tender and loving Mother, our Lord, who leads us with infinite care. Even now, He extends a promise to us as found in Isaiah 51:16, "I have put My words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of My hand. I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’” Yes, the Lord is ready today to place His words in your mouth and transform you into a powerful instrument for His purpose.
Time and again, I have felt the difference this makes. Every moment I rise to speak in the name of the Lord. I do not rely on my own words, but His Spirit fills me with His word. When I speak His word, it brings His will, His power, and His presence into that place. Over time, I have come to understand the significant distinction between my words and the Lord's word.
The Lord's word will flow from your mouth, reaching the ears of those in authority in your workplace and beyond. It will go before leaders, before kings in your land, and even before the troublemakers in your life. When you stand before others, whether in school, at work, or within society, it will not be your own words but the Lord’s word that you speak. As you thus rise to speak, His presence will envelop you, and He will cover you with His shadow. You will stand under the abundant grace of God. He calls us His people, and through His power, He will show that we are His people and will make us speak His word with authority, thus bringing His purpose and glory to every place you are called to be.
This is what He did for Moses, a man burdened with stuttering. God sent him to confront a mighty king of Egypt, a ruler so powerful he could have crushed Moses with a word, and instructed him to demand the release of the enslaved Israelites. Imagine the king’s reaction! Yet, Moses spoke not with his own words but with the word of the Lord. That word carried the wonders of God, striking fear into the heart of the king and unleashing God's mighty power. Such is the power of the word that dwells within you. Speak that word today, and step boldly under the grace of God. Let Him use you as His instrument to bring His will and wonders into every corner of your life.
PRAYER:
Loving Lord, thank You for placing Your words in my mouth and covering me with the shadow of Your hand. Please empower me to speak Your word with boldness and grace and carry Your will into every situation. Fill me with Your Spirit so that through Your words, I can bring peace, healing, and transformation. Please help me to stand firm before authorities, leaders, and even adversaries, declaring Your truth. Cover me with Your grace, and let Your presence be my strength and shield. Like Moses, enable me to overcome my limitations and trust in Your mighty power. Thank You for calling me as Your own and entrusting me with Your divine authority. I surrender my heart to You, Lord. Use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
