Dear friend, I wish you a very blessed Christmas. May the birth of Jesus fill your heart with immeasurable joy. As it says in Luke 2:10, “The angel said to them, ‘Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.’” This was not just good news; it was the best news of all! The shepherds received this truth wholeheartedly, “Christ, our Saviour, is born.” The moment they received the good news, they sprang into action. They hurried off to see Jesus for themselves. As Luke 2:17 says, “When they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this child.” With great passion, they shared this good news with others because it was a message that brought real and lasting joy.

This good news is truly life-changing; It is a joy that is personal, a joy that is beneficial, and a joy that is royal. It comforts us with the assurance that we are heirs of a glorious kingdom. What an incredible privilege it is for God to call us His sons and daughters! When we believe in Him, He welcomes us into His family and receives us into His eternal kingdom. Together, we become a royal family.

This good news brings us joy that is rooted in the birth of the King of Kings, Jesus Christ. No one can take this joy away from us. The joy of Christmas doesn’t fade with the season; it remains with us forever. This royal joy belongs to those who proclaim it, those who hear it, and those who believe it.

Just as the shepherds shared this good news with others, let us do the same. Jesus is the reason for our lives and the source of every blessing. Let us bring Jesus to the world. As the Christmas carol says, “Go tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is Lord.” Jesus, born into this world as a King, came to give us royal joy. May this royal joy be with you always. May Jesus be born in your life this season. Receive Him into your heart, and tell others about Him. 

PRAYER: 
Dear Father, I thank You for the greatest gift of all, Your Son, Jesus Christ, my Saviour and King. Please fill my heart with the royal joy that comes from knowing Him and His love for me. Help me, like the shepherds, to share this good news with passion and sincerity with others. Teach me to live as Your child, reflecting Your glory and love. May the joy of Christmas remain in my heart, not just for a season but forever. Strengthen me to be a messenger of hope, bringing the light of Jesus to the world. Help me to proclaim boldly that Jesus is the reason for life and the source of every blessing. Let my life bring honour to the King of Kings, who was born to give me eternal life and bliss. I commit myself to You, Lord, and pray for Your guidance in all I do.  In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
