My precious child of God, I greet you in the loving and mighty name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today, let us meditate on a beautiful verse from John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

My dear friend, today is December 24th. Tomorrow, we will celebrate Christmas! While many may be blessed with new clothes and gifts, some of you might not have that privilege. Do not be discouraged. Remember, a dress is not the most precious thing. What is truly precious is having Jesus in your home, having Jesus in your heart, and experiencing the peace that only God can give. That peace is far greater than any material possession, for it reminds us of the greatest gift of all, the Lord Jesus Christ. He came into this world because the Almighty God gave us salvation as a free gift for every one of us.

You don’t need to buy it. It is given to those who ask, to those who desire it, and to those who cry out to the Lord in faith. That, my friend, is the most important thing; having Jesus as your Saviour. As we prepare to celebrate Christmas tomorrow, let us remember that it is not just about outward celebrations. Jesus must be born in your heart and brought into your life. That is what truly matters. Becoming a child of God is the greatest blessing; not new clothes, new food, or new possessions. So, if you cannot afford new clothes or special things, do not worry. Instead, gather as a family in the presence of God and sing songs of praise. Rejoice in the Lord, for He has come into this world to bring us salvation. Thank Him with a grateful heart, and you will see His miracles unfold. God will provide. He will give you the best dress, the best food, and the greatest blessings. Wait and see! It will happen because our God is good!

Isaiah 44:3 says, “I will pour My Spirit on those who believe in Me.” Wait on the Lord and receive His blessings. He will fill you with His power and make your life fruitful for His glory. That is what truly matters. So, ask for this kind of life, my friend and not primarily for new clothes, new food, or new things. Instead, say, “Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Live with us as a family.” Would you pray with me now? Hallelujah! What a good God we have!

PRAYER:
Loving heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart, thanking You for Your unfailing love. Thank You for sending Jesus, Your only Son, to save me and give me eternal life. Lord, I invite You into my heart and into my home today. Fill me with Your peace and joy, which surpass all understanding. Help me to celebrate this Christmas with gratitude for Your precious gift of salvation. Teach me to value Your presence above all material things. Pour out Your Spirit upon me, Lord, and make my life fruitful for Your glory. Let Your love shine through me as a testimony to others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
