My dear friend, today, God's promise is ready to uplift us, shake our spirits, and pour out blessings upon us. I want to take a moment to wish my dear sister, Sharon Angel, a very happy birthday! Let us also remember her in our prayers today. As we turn to today's promise, we find it in Psalm 125:1, “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.”

When troubles unexpectedly storm into our lives, they can shake us to our very core. Often, the first thing we lose is our faith, our trust in the Lord. We forget to place our hope in Him. Instead, we ask ourselves, “What’s going to happen to me? How can I overcome this on my own?” As the paths before us grow darker, doubts creep in, and we find our faith wavering. But this verse reminds us that those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion. They cannot be shaken.

Faith is so vital, my friend. If you observe those who struggle with depression, you’ll notice that fear and worry often dominate their hearts. They feel overwhelmed, with no one to rely on, no anchor to depend upon, and no clear path to a hopeful future. This burden often leads to deep despair. But not for us, my friend! Faith comes in as a powerful shield, making us unshakable and unmovable. So, how does faith come into our lives? The Bible answers this in Romans 10:17, “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing the Word of God.” As we immerse ourselves in God’s Word, listening, meditating, and embracing it daily, faith takes root in our hearts. When trials arise, the Word we’ve received speaks directly to us, reminding us of this powerful truth, “Trust in God, and you will be unshakable.” This divine promise assures us that we will endure forever. It builds within us a confidence that God is capable of intervening supernaturally, even in our darkest situations. As a result, our hearts grow strong, anchored in trust and hope in a mighty God. What man cannot provide, what this world fails to give, God alone supplies in abundance. When we trust in Him, our hearts remain steadfast and unshaken.

From this day forward, let us draw strength from God's Word, placing our unwavering trust and faith in Him. Shall we receive this gift and walk boldly in His promise?

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, I come before You with my heart, longing for Your strength and guidance. Thank You for the promise that those who trust in You are unshakable, like Mount Zion. In the midst of trials, teach me to place my complete trust in You. Let Your Word take root in my heart, renewing me each day. Help me to overcome every fear and doubt and stand firm in Your miracle-working power. Fill me with confidence in Your abundant provisions for my life. Let my heart remain steadfast, knowing that You alone can sustain me forever. I surrender all my worries to You and open my heart to receive Your perfect peace and joy. Lead me, Lord, as I walk boldly in the assurance of Your unshakable promise. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
