My friend, John 15:11, declares, “The Lord’s joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” Yes, God wants to fill you with His joy. He desires for your life to overflow with joy, for you to enjoy everything with a heart full of gladness. To make this possible, He pours His joy into your heart, and the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Zephaniah 3:17 affirms, “The Lord rejoices over you with singing.” Verse 19 further proclaims, “Wherever you have faced shame, in that very place, He will give you praise and honour because of His joy over you.” Such is the power of God's joy in your life! So come on, rejoice and declare, “Jesus is rejoicing over me!” Indeed, God will cause you to rejoice with abundant blessings. Why is God rejoicing over you? Firstly, because You ‘Walk in Truth’. As written in III John 4, “My friend, you are walking after righteousness, following God according to His truth.” Because of this, the Lord rejoices over you, and His joy overflows within you, enabling you to experience divine joy in this world.
Secondly, because you ‘Share Jesus with Others’. Luke 10:21 reveals how Jesus rejoiced over His disciples. Why? Because they went everywhere, proclaiming the name of Jesus. When people received the message of Christ, peace entered their homes, filled their hearts, and drove out the demons that tormented them. In the same way, as you stand with Jesus Calls and witness about Jesus to others, demons flee, and Jesus rejoices over you. His joy fills you, and His presence brings peace into your home.
Thirdly, because ‘He answers your Prayers’. John 16:24 declares, “When you ask in My name, you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.” Yes! God desires for you to have everything necessary for your joy to be made full. Will you ask Him in the name of Jesus?
Let me share this powerful testimony of Sis. Jaya Latha from Chennai who had struggled for nine long years without a child. She faced criticism and humiliation. Her husband's family urged him to remarry and abandon her. Their marriage suffered constant strife, yet she remained barren.
At her lowest point, she began visiting the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower. One Friday, she attended a Family Blessing Prayer Meeting, where a compassionate prayer warrior prayed for her. She was encouraged to enrol her unborn child by faith in the Young Partners Plan, a divine Plan where children are prayed for daily in the 24-hour Prayer Tower, with their names and photographs lifted before the Lord. Though she had no child, she took a step of faith and enrolled her future baby, trusting that God would bless her. And He did! Within 15 days, she conceived, after nine years of barrenness. The joy of the Lord came upon her as she supported God's ministry through the Young Partners Plan. God made her joy complete by giving her a son, whom she named Samuel. But the blessings didn’t stop there. She conceived again and gave birth to a daughter, Sharon. Filled with gratitude, she made a vow to donate new clothes at Christmas for the poor children served through SEESHA. Today, her family is abundantly blessed. What God did for her, He will do for you. Your joy will be complete!
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for filling my heart with Your divine joy. Let Your joy be my strength in every season of my life. Rejoice over me, Lord, and turn every shame into honour and praise. Help me to walk in Your truth so that my life will bring You delight. Fill me with boldness to share Jesus with others. Let every darkness flee as I proclaim Your name and witness for You. Father, I ask in Jesus’ name, grant me the desires of my heart and make my joy complete. Let my home be filled with Your presence, love, and peace. I surrender to Your perfect will, knowing that Your joy will never fail me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
