My precious friend, today’s promise is drawn from the prayer of the Psalmist, "Show me a sign of Your favour, that those who hate me may see and be put to shame because You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me" (Psalm 86:17). Yes, my friend, God is our help and comfort in times of trouble. He assures us, saying, "Call unto Me in the days of your trouble. I will come to you and deliver you. I will turn your sorrow into joy. I will comfort you on all sides by increasing your greatness on every side" (Psalm 71:21).

Indeed, God will show a sign of His favour in your life, and those who hate you will be put to shame before you. God will do it. Do not be afraid. Let me share a wonderful testimony with you. Anil Prasad from Bilaspur, who works in the PWD department of the government, was falsely accused by a journalist. This journalist sent baseless accusation letters to government officials, leading to an unjust case being filed against Mr. Anil Prasad. He endured terrible distress for five long years. Finally, he was summoned to attend a verdict hearing at the government office. 

While travelling by train to the inquiry, he received an SMS from me. The message quoted Psalm 112:5, "Blessed is the man who conducts his affairs with fairness." This verse greatly encouraged him. He reflected, “I have been conducting my affairs with fairness, so God will bless me.” When he appeared before the inquiry board, five high-ranking officials presided over the hearing. After he explained his situation, one of the officers declared, “He is not guilty.” The others agreed, and he was acquitted of all charges. Not only was he delivered from the case, but he was also reinstated to his position. Yes, God showed a sign of His favour in Mr. Anil Prasad’s life, and those who hated him were put to shame. My friend, God will do the same for you.

PRAYER: 
Dear Lord, You are my ever-present help and comfort in times of trouble. Show me a sign of Your favour, O Lord, so that those who oppose me may see Your hand upon my life and be put to shame. Lift me from sorrow and distress and turn my mourning into joy. Increase my greatness on every side, and comfort me with Your boundless love. Strengthen my faith to trust in Your promises and wait patiently for Your deliverance. Bless the works of my hands and let my efforts prosper under Your guidance. Let Your grace exalt me to a place of honour and fulfill Your purposes in my life. Thank You, Lord, for being my refuge and ever-faithful protector. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
