My precious friend, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on Psalm 128:2. It is a beautiful verse that says, “You will eat the fruit of your labour; blessings and prosperity will be yours.”

Who will receive all these blessings? If you read Psalm 128:1, it says, “Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways.” It mentions EVERYONE, meaning everyone can receive God's abundant blessings! And Psalm 115:13 further assures us, “He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great.” My friend, your whole family can receive God's abundant blessings. But what must we do? We have to seek the Lord with all our hearts.

David loved the Lord immensely. In Psalm 23, he declares, “The Lord is my Shepherd.” He says, “God is my Shepherd; I shall not want.” God provides everything in a beautiful way. This Psalm is a short one with only six verses, but each verse is rich and full of blessings. My friend, please read Psalm 23. Memorise it, keep it in your heart, and claim its blessings every day. Reflect on your life. Is God truly your Shepherd in life? If you truly make Him your shepherd, you shall never lack anything. David made God his shepherd and experienced His love, guidance, and abundant blessings.

Let us also carefully consider I Chronicles 29:28. What was the end of David’s life? It says, “David died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour.” David was just a simple man, yet God blessed him to become a king. My friend, in the same way, seek God and make Him your shepherd. When you do, you, too, will eat the fruit of your labour, and blessings and prosperity will always abound in your life.

PRAYER:
Loving Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for Your promises and blessings. Thank You for being my Shepherd, providing all my needs so abundantly. Help me to walk in Your ways and to fear You with all my heart. Bless my family and me as we seek You daily. Fill our lives with Your peace, prosperity, and divine favour. Guide us in every step we take and lead us towards the path of righteousness. Teach us to trust You as David did and to rejoice in Your love and care. Help us to enjoy the fruit of our labour and the richness of Your blessings. Let Your abundant grace surround us, now and always. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
