My precious friend, remember this, God will never forsake you because He has chosen you to be His own people. Today’s promise verse is from I Samuel 12:22, which says, “For the sake of His great name, the Lord will not reject His people, because the Lord was pleased to make you His own.” You are God’s people. You are His child. Jesus shed His precious blood and purchased you with His sacrifice to make you His own. For the sake of His great name, He will never forget you, nor will He reject you. Believe this promise and thank Him wholeheartedly.

When discouragement comes knocking, it may whisper lies that God doesn’t love you anymore. It may say, “Yes, He made you His child in the beginning, but now you have fallen short. You have failed to please Him. People criticise you. You’ve failed in your exams or at your job. How could God still love you or count you as His child?” These are lies of the enemy. The devil magnifies your failures to make you feel unworthy of being God’s child. But that is absolutely wrong, my friend.

For the sake of His great name, the Lord will never forsake you. He will never reject you. He has chosen to make you His child through the precious blood of Jesus, and He is pleased to call you His own. Declare boldly today, “Whatever my situation or position in life may be, I am still a child of God. Jesus loves me, and He is with me. He will help me in this time. His will shall prevail, and all things will work together for good in my life. It will happen so!”

Let me share a testimony to encourage you. There was a man named Elisha Periyaswamy who once worked in a private bank. Though his family followed Jesus, he mocked Him and was opposed to the faith. Eventually, he lost his job and fell into financial troubles so severe that he considered ending his life. One day, as he walked aimlessly, he heard my voice during a public meeting, saying, “Your sorrow will turn into joy.” That one word stirred his heart and drew him to Jesus.

Elisha returned home, began reading the Scriptures, and gave his life to the Lord. God began transforming his life. Even though he faced a legal case that dragged on for seven years, God gave him victory. Elisha came back to the Bethesda Prayer Center and attended one of our meetings. During prayer, I felt led to tell him, “God is making you a prophet.” I knew nothing of his situation, but God worked in his life and turned his heart around. Today, Elisha testifies that he received the prophetic word and is now being used by God in the prophetic ministry, carrying His blessings to many. My dear friend, just as God lifted Bro. Elisha from despair and gave him a new purpose, He will lift you up too. He has chosen you as His own child. Trust in Him, for His will shall prevail in your life.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing love and for choosing me as Your own. Even in my moments of failure and weakness, I trust in Your promise that You will never forsake me. Help me to stand firm against the lies of discouragement and to remember that I am precious in Your sight. Lord, strengthen my heart to boldly declare that I am Your child, loved and redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Grant me the grace to trust in Your plans and to believe that all things will work together for my good. In every trial, remind me of Your faithfulness and fill my spirit with Your peace and confidence. Lift me up, Lord, and lead me according to Your perfect will. Let my life bring glory to Your great name as I walk in Your love and purpose.  In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
