My precious child of God, I am so delighted to greet you today, and may God richly bless you through His living Word. Psalm 16:11 declares, “In Your presence, there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” The man of God, Moses, was deeply troubled and weighed down by many burdens. In those moments, he looked unto the Lord. If you read Exodus 33:14, the Lord’s comforting promise says, “My presence will go before you, and I will give you rest.”

My friend, are you feeling troubled like Moses? Are you overwhelmed by the many challenges in your life? The Word of God assures us: “The Lord’s presence will go before you.” And the Lord Himself promises, “My son, I will give you rest.” What should we do? Just as Moses did, we need to look unto the Lord. Moses spent hours and even days in the presence of God, pouring out his heart before Him. And the Lord faithfully went before Moses, leading him and delivering the people of Israel from every difficulty. Psalm 16:11 reminds us, “In God’s presence there is fullness of joy.” Similarly, Psalm 31:19–20 proclaims that God will hide us in the secret place of His presence, shielding us from the strife of tongues and keeping us safely in His pavilion.

In our own family, we have endured many struggles, especially when we lost our precious daughter, Evangeline, at just 17 years of age. It felt as though all our hope, joy, and reason for living were gone. Our hearts were filled with grief, and we found ourselves crying constantly. Then one morning during our usual family prayer time at 6 o’clock, the presence of God descended upon us like never before. We were all filled with the power of God, and suddenly, our sorrow turned into laughter and joy. Hallelujah!

As 1 Peter 1:8 says, it was a “joy unspeakable and full of glory.” At that moment, we heard the voice of God saying, “My children, I know your agony. I am asking you—will you let Me down at this time? Will you continue My work or turn away from Me?” Together, we cried out with one accord, “Lord, where can we go if we leave You? You are our hope and our joy!” From that moment, the Lord filled us with renewed hope, and we committed ourselves to doing His will once again.

Are you also weighed down by worries and struggles in your life? The same Lord will fill you with the Holy Spirit. He will give you joy unspeakable and full of glory, and He will open new doors for you. Hallelujah! What a great and faithful God you and I serve!

PRAYER:
Loving Heavenly Father, I come into Your presence, seeking Your unspeakable joy and peace. Thank You for promising to go before me and give me rest. Please teach me to fix my gaze on You and to trust You completely. Hide me in the secret place of Your presence, Lord. Shield me from every worry and struggle that weighs me down. Fill me with the joy unspeakable and full of glory that is found only in Your presence. Renew my hope and strengthen my faith to follow Your will. Holy Spirit, please guide me and open new doors before me. Thank You for being a faithful God in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
