My dear friend, it is a joy to greet you today. We will be meditating on Acts 1:8, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” Yes, my friend, are you seeking this power? Do you long for a supernatural strength to fill you? As you invite the Holy Spirit into your life today, God’s power will come upon you. This is exactly what happened in the life of Peter in the Bible. He was an ordinary fisherman, fearful and full of doubt. He often ran away from difficult situations, even though he was a disciple of Jesus. When confronted about his relationship with Jesus, he denied Him three times. He was afraid, avoiding any confrontation.

Yet, we see how the same Peter’s life was completely transformed. When God poured out His Spirit upon the disciples on the day of Pentecost, Peter was no longer the same man. He became a bold warrior for Jesus, standing at the forefront, proclaiming His name, performing signs, wonders, and miracles. He boldly said, “Whatever comes my way, I will not be afraid. I will stand for Jesus.” God’s power came upon him, and the lame man stood up and walked. Even Peter’s shadow brought healing and miracles to the people. Yes, his ministry was completely changed.

In the same way, God will transform your life. Are you saying, “I am full of fear. I am a coward. I am too shy. I don’t have the qualities to be used by the Lord”? Today, as God pours out His Spirit upon you, you will be filled with His power! You will be strengthened, filled with His wisdom, and empowered with confidence to step forward in faith. You will walk in His might, performing signs, wonders, and miracles.

Even the smallest prayer you whisper, the simplest act of service you offer, will be filled with divine power. People will notice something different about you. It will be the Holy Spirit working through you. So today, receive this power. Open your heart and welcome the Holy Spirit into your life.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, thank You for granting me this incredible privilege of carrying Your presence within me today. Just as You poured out Your Spirit on the disciples on the day of Pentecost, I pray that You will pour out Your Spirit upon me now. Fill me with Your power, Lord. Let every weakness in me fade away. Every fear, every insecurity, every nature in me that I have been ashamed of, I surrender all to You. Lord, please turn my life around. Let my words, my actions, and even the smallest acts of service be filled with Your divine power. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. I receive Your Holy Spirit today. I receive Your strength. I receive Your wisdom. I receive all that You have for me. Let my life bring You glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
