My precious friend, “The One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” There are two persons at work, as revealed in I John 4:4 - the One who is greater and the one who is in the world. The one in the world is the devil. John 10:10 calls him a thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus Himself warned in John 16:33 that in this world, we will face tribulations because sin has given the devil dominion over many lives and over the earth.

Romans 6:23 tells us that sin brings death. This is why satan spreads darkness, fear, and destruction, robbing people of their blessings. But when we open our hearts and invite Jesus, the giver of life, everything changes. Jesus, fully God yet clothed in human flesh, took upon Himself all our sins. Though He was completely holy, He bore the punishment meant for us, suffering on the cross, not for His sins, but for ours. He became a curse in our place, facing the ultimate consequence of sin - death itself.

Yet, because He is God, and God cannot be held by death, His Spirit raised Him to life on the third day. He conquered death and the grave, and today, He is alive! Why? To come into you and keep you alive as His child, holy and acceptable before God. The same Jesus who crushed the powers of darkness and shattered the curse of sin now dwells in you. He is greater than the devil, who brings death to the soul, to relationships, and to everyday life. Jesus gives you victory, delivering you from every curse and making you an overcomer.

Today, He stands at the door of your heart, waiting for you. Will you open your heart to Him and say, “Jesus, come into my heart. Be in me, Lord”? He lovingly calls, “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” If you hear His voice and open your heart, He will enter and live within you. With Christ inside, no force of darkness can overtake you. He will make you more than a conqueror. Don’t you need God with you? Jesus is the way. Open your heart to Him today.

PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your presence in my life. Lord Jesus, I believe You are greater than every force of darkness. Please come and dwell in me. Thank You for taking my sins upon Yourself, for dying in my place, and for rising again in victory. Cleanse me, Lord, from every sin that separates me from You, and make me holy before You. I reject the enemy’s lies and choose to walk in the freedom and light of Your truth. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I can live in the power of Your resurrection every day. Break every curse, every chain, and every stronghold that hinders my walk with You. Let Your peace replace my fears, and Your love cast out every doubt within me. Jesus, I surrender my life to You. Be my Lord, my Saviour, and my ever-present help. Thank You for making me more than a conqueror. I trust in You forever. In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen.
