My precious child of God, I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Today, for our meditation, we have chosen the promise verse from 1 Samuel 2:9, which says, "He will guard the feet of His faithful ones." Who does "He" refer to? Isaiah 43:3 and 15 say, "He is the Lord our God." Now, reread the verse with hope, claiming it: "The Lord will guard the feet of His faithful ones." What an amazing promise from God!
In Leviticus 20:26, the Lord spoke to the people of Israel, saying, "I am the Lord, I am holy, and I have separated you from the people that you should be Mine, and you shall be holy to Me." The Israelites were chosen people, handpicked by the Lord Himself. He stated, "I have separated you from others, and you shall be holy." This is indeed a glorious calling. Similarly, the Lord calls you today to be His own people and desires to bless your life with His holiness and sanctification. This sanctification is made possible only through the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, which He shed on the cross, as mentioned in Hebrews 13:12.
My friend, are you washed by the blood of Jesus Christ? Are you sanctified through His blood? Only when you are committed to leading a holy life will the Lord guard your feet and protect you from all evil. Psalm 91:11 & 12 says, “The Lord shall give His angels charge over you, and they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against a stone.” What a great blessing we can receive in our lives. Are you washed by the blood of Jesus Christ? Do you have a close walk with Him? If not, I would encourage you to surrender your life to the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and plead for His forgiveness and to be cleansed with His precious blood, which He shed on the cross. Then, you will be protected on all sides when you walk in holiness before the Lord. Shall we pray and receive all these blessings right now?
Prayer:
My dear heavenly Father, thank You for Your wonderful promise. You are the God of the righteous. I once again surrender my life completely into Your loving hands. Please forgive my trespasses and cleanse me with Your precious blood so that I will be made new. Help me to cling to You tightly and never look to the world for pleasure or comfort. Transform me from within and make me a new creation in You. Grant me the grace and the strength to walk holy before You. I know that You will not allow my foot to stumble because You will guard my feet and every area of my life and keep me safe and secure in Your presence. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
