My friend, God is our refuge, our strength, and a very present help in times of trouble, as Psalm 46:1 reminds us. Today’s promise is from Psalm 5:11, which says, “Let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy.” Yes, God takes care of those who take refuge in Him. The Lord is our everlasting refuge. He will protect our soul, our life, our integrity, our possessions, and our family.

When Herod sought to kill the child Jesus, God sent an angel to Joseph with clear guidance, “Take the child and his mother and go to Egypt.” This same God will guide you in raising your children and will protect them as well. He is your refuge, and through His divine protection, He will make you sing for joy. Let not your heart be troubled.

Here’s a wonderful testimony of God’s protection over our Young Partner, Ashish Sharon’s life. While travelling in a car with his parents, Ashish was involved in a serious accident. He lost consciousness and later woke up in the hospital. His mother reminded him, “You are a Jesus Calls Young Partner. Prayer intercessors are praying for you. No harm will come to you.” That day, the daily promise verse from Jesus Calls was Psalm 91:15, “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honour him.” Ashish clung to this promise. Thank God for His divine protection! Though Ashish’s hands were fractured, and he was in great pain, he held onto God’s promise. His 12th board exams were only two weeks away, so he called the Prayer Tower for prayer support. The prayer intercessors prayed for him, and with God’s strength, he studied diligently. He expected to score only 50%, but God blessed him with 80%! God not only protected Ashish but also prospered him and safeguarded his family.

Let not your heart be troubled. Truly, when you take refuge in Jesus, even though the world may bring challenges, God will protect you and make you sing for joy.

PRAYER: 
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being my refuge, my strength, and my ever-present help in times of trouble. I praise You for the assurance that when I take refuge in You, I can find gladness and sing for joy. Please protect my soul, my life, my integrity, and my family with Your divine presence. Guide me in all that I do, and show me the right path just as You guided Joseph. Help me trust in Your protection even when challenges arise. Fill my heart with Your peace and remove every worry and fear. Teach me to rejoice in You, knowing that You are always near. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and care. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
