Dear friend, Ephesians 1:4 declares, “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.” You are not an afterthought in God's plan; you are not an accident. As Romans 8:29 affirms, “You are predestined.” God has no new plans for you. Everything concerning your life was already set in place before the foundation of the world. He knows every step you will take, every challenge you will face, and every moment you will live. How deep and immeasurable is God's love for you!

In love, He created you, even before the foundation of the world. He formed you with perfect love, with intentionality and purpose. These truths are so wonderful to know! Yet, the Lord places the responsibility of faith upon you. If you truly believe that God loves you, if you trust that He has known you since before time began, then you will also understand that you are called to be holy and blameless before Him. You do not belong to yourself. You are God’s creation, set apart for His purpose.

The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8, “By grace you have been saved through faith.” When we place our faith in God, we are secure in Him. In times of difficulty, it is easy to wonder, “Why was I born into this world?” In moments of hardship, we may ask, “What is my purpose?” But take heart! God knows how special you are. He has a divine plan for your life, my friend. When we look at John the Baptist, the Lord had a specific purpose for his life. In Luke 1:14, it is written, “Many will rejoice over his birth.” The next verse mentions, “He will be great and distinguished in the sight of the Lord. He will turn many of the sons of Israel back to the Lord their God.” Even before John was formed in his mother’s womb, these things were beautifully written in the Book of Life about him.

Likewise, God has a magnificent plan for your life. Yes, you are chosen and handpicked by God Himself. You are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus. You were made for good works, which God has already prepared in advance for you to walk in. Think of how much He considers you, how deeply He knows you, and how greatly He loves you! He says, “You are My treasured possession. You are chosen by Me. You did not choose Me, but I have chosen you so that you may bear much fruit.” Yes, dear friend, your life has a purpose. Simply believe in God and come to Him. Draw closer to Him, and He will draw closer to you.

PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for choosing me before the foundation of the world. Your love is immeasurable, and Your plans for me are perfect. Help me to walk in holiness, blameless before You in love. Strengthen my faith so that I will always trust in Your purpose. When I face difficulties, remind me that I am special to You. Just as You had a plan for John the Baptist, I believe that You have a unique plan for me. I am Your workmanship, created in Jesus to do good works. Let me bear much fruit and glorify Your name in all I do. Draw me closer to You, Lord, as I seek You with all my heart. In Jesus’ name, I pray,  Amen.
