"Arise and work! The Lord be with you." This is God's promise for you today. I Chronicles 22:16 declares it so. Are you fearful about whether you should take on the tasks before you? Do anxieties cloud your mind about family matters? Are you troubled about your business decisions? Do you feel confused about the steps to take for your future, whether in studies, work, or family life? The Lord speaks to you today: Arise, go forth, and do the work before you. The Lord will be with you! He will bless the work of your hands and prosper all that you do. Your steps are divinely ordered by Him.
I Samuel 14:45 tells of an incident about Jonathan. The Philistines waged war against Israel, and though King Saul led the army, fear overtook his soldiers, causing them to flee. But Jonathan, Saul’s son, stood firm. He said, "God can save with many or with few. I will go!" Jonathan knew for sure that he was not alone. God was with him. Trusting in the Lord’s power, he took his armour-bearer and went forward. Two men faced a mighty army, and yet God granted them victory. They struck down only twenty men, but the Lord sent an earthquake, causing confusion among the enemy. The Philistines turned on each other, and Israel witnessed a mighty triumph.
The people saw this and proclaimed, “The Lord stood with Jonathan, and Jonathan did the work.” Do not sit back in doubt, asking, Will I prosper? Will I succeed? Do not give up like Saul, fearing abandonment or defeat. The world may throw obstacles in your path, but stand firm and declare,
"Thank You, Jesus, for going before me! You are the way. Thank You, Jesus, for being in me and with me through the Holy Spirit. You are my strength and my truth. Thank You, Lord, for being my rear guard. I will go in Your name and study. I will go in Your name and work. I will go in Your name to lead my family. I will go in Your name to minister to others. You are with me!" Go forth with this hope! The Lord will perfect everything concerning you. He will bless the work of your hands, and just like Isaac, you will reap a hundredfold blessing.
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You fully trusting in Your promises. Thank You for being my guide, my strength, and my ever-present help. I surrender my fears, doubts, and anxieties into Your mighty hands. Lead me, Lord, in the work set before me, and let Your will be done. Bless the work of my hands and grant me wisdom in all my decisions. Fill me with courage to walk boldly in the path You have prepared. Let Your presence go before me, making crooked places straight. In Your name, I arise, move forward, and claim the victory You have already given me. In Jesus' mighty name, I receive every blessing and give You all the praise! Amen.
